🧱 Hennesee Dam: Engineering Meets Panorama The Hennesee Dam is an important structure for water regulation, but also a fantastic destination for your hike. A popular hiking trail runs across the imposing dam, serving as a natural skywalk. From the dam crest, you can enjoy an unobstructed panoramic view of the deep blue Hennesee. You can also reach the upper exit of the challenging "Sky Stairway" here.

There are beautiful views on both sides. This weekend, the Sparkassenhennesee Festival is taking place there. It starts at 6:00 PM. Admission is free.

A beautiful lake, easy to walk around. There is a Chill In at the dam. Food/drink. Unfortunately, you only pay in cash there. Pretty stupid.
