A great place to linger, even if there is usually no special treatment from the SGV youth centre, with the goulash cannon at the Ehmsenhütte for the new hiking guides ;) (see photos)

A great hut for a break. Many birds chirp here and in autumn the forest around is full of mushrooms.

The Ehmsenhütte is a refuge on the "Sauerland Waldroute" hiking trail. There is also a memorial stone for Forstrat Ehmsen, the founder of the SGV.

At this spot near the three naves, many (walking) paths come together. There are many picnic benches, a nice cabin and a Tretbecken.

A huge hut that offers space for a large group in the Nonnenkuhle. Unfortunately I found 7 beer bottles in the bushes and put them in my backpack.
