The Korbach-Affoldern railway line was primarily built to transport construction materials for the dam. Now, the longest section has been converted into a cycle and hiking path.

The Eder Railway Cycle Path runs from Buhlen near Affoldern to Korbach and vice versa. It's completely paved, with no significant incline. Former station buildings, bridges, and tunnels bear witness to and bear witness to the—sadly—long-gone railway era.

🍰The café is right on the main street, has a very quaint interior, great prices, excellent cakes, and very friendly service. Highly recommended for a quick coffee break.☕️
