Do not cycle any further on that path, as indicated on Komoot, because it is a hiking trail and full of nettles when we were there.

This year, the path does not look anything like the photos. We wanted to cycle there - there would have been enough space, but the path is lined with meter-high nettles. The route is not recommended for walking either.

A swimming area next to the boarding school. A little above there is a barrier that prevents cars from entering - but you can easily get past it by bike or on foot. A larger meadow with a bench follows. The entry into the water is about 15m wide - there is no or only a small sandy beach. Last time the bank area was very green with lots of algae - not necessarily for everyone. We did a paddling tour from here and were able to get our boat in and out easily - so that's also possible.

This path is at the edge of the forest and there is only the grass mowed. On one side are beautiful fields to see on the other side of the lake.

Along the way directly at the Torgelower lake. Not far away are nice swimming spots or entrances for paddling (not made yourself, but seen - please inform in advance if this is allowed). In autumn you can see migratory birds (cranes) sitting in the field and in the summer bathers. To get to this point you either have to follow the forest path or turn off the main road and walk down / cycle. The path continues around the Torgelower lake - a little further away in the direction of Gievitz you get away from the lake, later to get closer to boarding again (official routes)
