Basedow Castle is a real eye-catcher and beautiful to look at. Together with Lenné Park and the small village with the village church, it forms a wonderful ensemble. Unfortunately, the castle itself can only be partially visited as part of a guided tour. But it is also worth seeing from the outside. There is a small path leading directly around the castle. The park is free and freely accessible and it is also worth taking a long walk here. The reflection of the castle in the adjacent village pond is also beautiful!👌 - why they have created several highlights for the same thing here is a mystery to me, as it is completely unnecessary! -

Ulrichshusen Castle is actually a manor house. It is beautifully situated on the Ulrichshusen Lake. The castle is used as an upscale hotel. But there is not just the castle with the small castle garden directly adjacent. Rather, it is an entire ensemble on the Ulrichshusen estate. Here you will find a good café and restaurant, among other things. The other outbuildings are used for various public events such as the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival.

This lake pavilion is located opposite the spa hotel and the Amsee clinic. A small jetty leads directly to it. There are several places to sit that invite you to linger. From here you have a beautiful view over the Tiefwarensee. For bathing enthusiasts there is even a jetty ladder!🏊‍♂️ There is a small free car park in the immediate vicinity and the Tiefwarensee observation tower is only a few hundred meters away from here.

Cyclists are not welcome here. Although the cycle path runs along the edge of the site, there is a locked gate and an additional barrier.

Ulrichshusen Castle is a manor house in Ulrichshusen, a village belonging to Moltzow in the Mecklenburg Lake District. With its three-storey main building and the typical stepped gables, it is one of the most important Renaissance buildings in Mecklenburg. Actually a hiking trail, the circular route can be done by bike. It's best if it hasn't rained heavily beforehand ;-)

Very nice facility with a view of the Torgelower See

A nice little tour north of goods. A detour to the show garden is definitely worthwhile and there is a lot to discover in Waren.
