This section of the route is beautiful to cycle through. The cycle path is wide and well-paved. There are also beautiful views of the water. This makes cycling fun.

The body of water is located about 550 meters south of the town of Speck and 3.4 kilometers east of the Müritz in the Mecklenburg Lake District. The community of Rechlin borders on the southwest bank. The lake has a maximum north-south length of 2.38 kilometers and a maximum width of about one kilometer. The water is divided into a north and a south basin by a narrow sea that is only 220 meters wide. The area of the lake is 1.53 km². The water level is 62.6 m above sea level. NHN. Adjacent areas are moist to boggy and covered in mixed forest. About 730 meters from the northeast bank is the Käflingsberg, the highest elevation in the area at 100.3 meters. Several ditches from the immediate area flow into the lake. There is a drain towards Hofsee.

The wooden footbridge leads to a viewing platform from which you have a great view of Priestbäkersee. Benches for resting are available.
