Regina and Rainer are right, really great as a dog run. It's also fun to ride along the Alte Alster by bike. The lake in the Niewohlder Moor is one of the most beautiful hidden lakes in the area.

A dream! It was my first time cycling through the moor and suddenly I came across this little lake. Unfortunately, I had to leave the bike behind and first walk the small path to the five swans. A very quiet and relaxed place!

What a coincidence! I didn't think I'd come across a source here. A nice surprise. Unfortunately, there was no water to be seen at the moment.

The railway bike path is fine for hiking if you have no problem with the many cyclists. You should be particularly careful with your dog and be prepared to give way to cyclists. If that doesn't bother you, the path is fine.
