A really tough trail, requiring a decent level of skill. The trail up was manageable, but later on, the descent was a steep slope, so I had to dismount.

The two turrets of the dam originally stood further in the middle, but have now been moved outwards towards the end of the wall. At the original locations, two handwheels are reminiscent of the towers. There is also an approximately five-kilometer circular route around the dam.

However, recreational use of the water is restricted due to its use for drinking water. The lake is fenced in, and benches in many places invite you to take a break with a view of the lake and the wooded mountain slopes.

This hiking trail connects the Hasper dam and the Ennepetal Oberbauer. The entrance to the Hasper dam is located directly behind the site of the former dam keeper's house. In Oberbauer the entrance is directly on the street "Amwege". This trail leads through the forest directly to the barrier wall and is also not very overcrowded.
