The Schwedenschanze is a hill surrounded by a wall-ditch system. Wall and ditch are partially still clearly visible. The complex was affected by military buildings from the 20th century.

Very nice area for a gravel tour. If you want to find out more about the Goitzsche Wilderness, you can have a look here: http://www.goitzsche-wildnis.de/ There is currently a live stream of the ospreys there. The hatching of the three young eagles is expected. 👍 (as of May 2021)
