A beautiful loop with many information panels. The Bear Loop is available as a 4 km or 7 km run, and as a 20 km bike ride.

Located directly on the Roman road. King Wilhelm II is said to have been here, a military training area was planned there in 1892 (but was then built in Münsingen) and at the end of 1945 there was a camouflaged airfield on this site.

Nice place for a little rest

The shaft cave on the Central European Watershed is a geological peculiarity. A little water constantly flows at the bottom of the approximately 47 meter deep cave. Unfortunately there isn't much to see from the outside

The place owes its name to the Württemberg King Wilhelm II, who stayed here in 1899 to observe maneuvers. In 1945, a German Wehrmacht field airfield was located here for a few months. When it was hastily abandoned, not only were a few fighter planes left behind, but also a motorized fire engine, which was used by the Nellingen fire department until 1968.

Until around 1750 it was common practice to drive cattle into the forests for grazing. In order to water the animals, pasture wells made of rubble stone and sealed with clay were dug. Today the well is covered with a grate to prevent accidents.
