The castle park and the small castle are a real highlight in Neckarbischofsheim. There's also the pentagonal tower to admire, and there's also a small swimming pool. It's worth a visit, if only for the superb ice cream in the castle park.

The name of the place, "Anabaptist Church," goes back to the tradition that secret meetings of the Anabaptist community were held here in the forest. Services were held, couples were married, and adults were baptized. The Anabaptist movement was a wing of the Reformation that advocated free choice in matters of faith and therefore opposed infant baptism. From 1525 onwards, its preachers called for conversion to follow Jesus and baptized as a sign of this decision. However, the authorities and established reformers saw this as heresy and the seed of rebellion. A mandate from Emperor Charles V on January 4, 1528 imposed the death penalty for "Anabaptists." Elector Ludwig V confirmed this with his mandate on March 5, 1528. Numerous Anabaptists were arrested, tried, convicted, and executed in the Electorate of the Palatinate.

Beautifully decorated church. It is located directly in front of the main entrance to the castle park and is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Built in swampy terrain since 1274. In the following century, around 1368, the castle was expanded with the addition of the palace that still exists today. The castle became the property of the city in 1975. Since 1990, civil weddings have been held in the Knights' Hall.

The town church was consecrated in 1612. The historic church building dates back to the existing St. Mary's Chapel, with the magnificent church tower being added in 1386.
