"A nice facility" is what many visitors to the impressive open-air stage may think at first glance. But unfortunately the so-called "Thingstätte" (the name dates back to pre-Christian times) near Heidelberg owes its existence (1930s) to the racial ideology of the Nazi regime.

Impressive evidence of the former quarry industry. The area is fenced and cordoned off - you can see the area through the fence or from above. As far as I know, there are also guided tours or events on the site.
