The Seckerborn spring (also called "Brünnelschen") is located on the hilltop of Kahlenberg, northwest of Wendelsheim. Particularly beautiful agate almonds were discovered here during vineyard clearing. From here, you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the trulli, Riedertal, and the Eckelsheim surf cliff. The "Elsa Schmitt Tower" observation tower is located on the northern outskirts of the wine-growing community of Wendelsheim in the Rhine-Hesse region. Thanks to a generous donation from the town's namesake, the Verschönerungsverein 1886 e.V. (Beautification Association 1886 e.V.) was able to build the versatile tower with a rest area in 2019.

In memory of and in thanks to Elsa Schmitt and her husband Karl, who generously bequeathed a legacy to the Beautification Association in 1990, which enabled this tower to be built.
