A hidden gem: The path through the Zoznegger Bergholz leads directly past a fascinating sandstone cliff. Over the years, numerous people have placed small angels with loving sayings and personal wishes into the porous rock face. This spot invites you to pause for a moment, enjoy the silence, and absorb the special atmosphere.

A very good viewpoint overlooking the crater lake, with a small rest area and information panel. Even though there is a large fence around the crater rim for safety reasons, a good view is still possible.

The Witches' Fountain was once on my daily commute by bike. It's a little highlight between Wahlwies and Nenzingen, especially for children, with the water wheel by the small stream. The route from Wahlwies to Nenzingen isn't too long and can easily be walked by families with children and strollers. In Nenzingen, you can enjoy a good meal at the Ritter or Schönenberger Hof before heading back to Wahlwies. In Wahlwies, you can end your day of hiking at the Adler.

The former gravel pit is located directly next to the Schwackenreuter Baggerseen-Rübelisbach nature reserve, which has existed since 2006. The abandoned plant can be easily viewed from the path.
