A beautiful singletrack trail runs along the lock of the Dalsland Canal between Lelang and Foxen. This trail is partly rocky and rooty, and leads over a wooden boardwalk. There's a café near the lock keeper's cottage.

At the locks, a wonderful trail, partially over a wooden plank footbridge, leads from Lelang to Foxen. Near the lock keeper's house, there's a small café with benches.

Cute little village located on the water. In the village there are several restaurants, a hostel / campsite, a shop for groceries and a nice resting place for walkers, including public toilets. Two long-distance trails run through the village.

Not just a rest, but also a campsite. Rather a bit more hustle and bustle, as it is located directly at the lock in Gustavsfors. Thus more suitable for water hikers and canoeists.

You can also quickly pass the two locks by canoe via the shore path if you don't want to wait that long....

Great historical 3 chamber lock

There is a shop and the lock between Le Lång and Västra Silen.

The lock staircase consists of three locks with a total of 7.5 m difference in height. Directly above the lock staircase a street crosses the Dalsland canal with a bascule bridge, with 3 m height. Lennartsfors lock staircase is after Håverud the most impressive lock system in Dalsland canal. The locks are blasted into the mountain and after the lock chambers follows a channel that goes through the mountain, with steep banks.
