이 호수는 인공적으로 조성되었습니다. 이곳은 헤르만 마테른(Hermann Matern)이 수년간의 노력 끝에 이곳을 조성하는 데 기여했기 때문에 그의 이름을 따서 명명되었습니다. 이곳에는 아름다운 모래 해변과 일광욕 및 수영 공간, 위생 시설, 탈의실, 그리고 DLRG 비상 전화 부스가 있습니다. 인근 주차장은 무료입니다. 이 구역에서는 개를 동반할 수 없습니다.

🌊The Ems barrage is one of the most modern barrages in Europe🇪🇺, in operation since 2002. The 476-meter-long structure fulfills two main tasks: It improves 🌊storm surge protection & the damming function makes it possible to transfer ships with a draft of up to 8.50 meters🚢. There is a large free car park right next to it. 🫨A huge structure & a mega photo location 🎨📸

Very nice park with fitness equipment

A lovely stop on a hike is the Neermoor bathing lake. Here you can take a leisurely break and go for a swim or simply enjoy the view.

We took a break here after about 10 km and really enjoyed it. Very well-kept grounds and clean benches. Close to the water and although you can see the main road, you can't hear it - perfect!
