Absolutely worthwhile, beautiful detour for a road bike tour through the mountains during your Lake Garda holiday.

The town of Idro, located in the south of the lake, consists of the Tre Capitelli, Pieve Vecchia, Lemprato, Crone, Vantone, Paröle and Vesta districts. The municipal area stretches from the northern east side of the lake down to the south and a little way up to the west side. Lemprato and Crone are best described as tourist centers. There are numerous inns, restaurants, pizzerias, holiday apartments, cultural institutions and churches. Two churches enrich the townscape, the Chiesa di San Sebastiano in Lemprate and the Chiesa San Michele Arcangelo in the Crone district.

Beautiful via ferrata that connects Baitoni to Vesta, also suitable for beginners (you often meet children too) and feasible in both directions: there is a slightly more challenging variant, especially if done downhill, immediately at beginning (starting from Vesta). Very panoramic because it often provides glimpses of the lake at the water's edge: absolutely not recommended in summer due to high temperatures.

Beautiful via ferrata, anomalous compared to others and perhaps for this reason interesting. It constantly follows Lake Idro with large stretches almost at the surface of the water. It is classified as 'easy' so it can also be suitable for beginners. Only a stretch at the end of the via ferrata (if you come from the north, otherwise it is at the beginning) is a little more difficult for beginners: it is a vertical wall of 5-6 metres. The via ferrata is very well equipped, with extensive use of ladders and metal handrails. Some broken bolts but this does not affect safety. There are 3 emergency exits towards the lake in case of emergencies.
