Work of the artist Giuliano Mauri, interpreter of natural art, the San Vigilio Bridge in Padernello is an artistic intertwining of chestnut branches on a small watercourse. The Monte Netto Regional Agricultural Park, also known as Montenetto, emerges as a natural oasis between the municipalities of Capriano, Poncarale and Flero. With an altitude of 133 meters, this isolated relief offers a suggestive panoramic view. Its privileged position embraces a foothill strip, forming a protected natural area in northern Lombardy. The park is a treasure of biodiversity, enriched by the territories of Capriano del Colle, Flero and Poncarale. Its unique topography and naturalistic richness make it an ideal place for those seeking tranquility and scenic beauty. A true jewel in the setting of the Lombard landscapes.

Padernello Castle is located in the village of the same name in the Borgo San Giacomo area in the province of Brescia. The castle dates back to the 15th century and is surrounded by a moat which makes it fascinating. Access to the structure (130 rooms on a surface area of 4000 m²) is via a still functioning drawbridge. The castle today hosts exhibitions and events.

This stretch of dirt path parallel to the Mella river is truly evocative and deserves to be explored with your own mountain bike or gravel bike. However, it is important to be careful of roots protruding from the ground, especially after rain or in the morning due to dew, as they can be very slippery.
