The ceremonial laying of the foundation stone for the parish church took place on May 19, 1905, and the solemn blessing took place on October 1 of the following year. The church was ready for occupancy and use. It is dedicated to St. Quirinus, first of all, and to Sts. Firminus and Ferredus. The feast of the church's patron saint is celebrated on the first Sunday in May.
