A spectacular, climbing trail along a river gorge, with five beautiful waterfalls, sturdy wooden walkways, and several steps. Naturalist Achilles Cazin, along with local carpenters, built the wooden paths and bridges between 1871 and 1875.

Located at the western end of the Aiguilles Rouges range, the Pointe de Lapaz is one of the belvedere peaks of Mont Blanc.

The final viewpoint, like the entire network of walkways to access it, is worth a visit.

A high peak above the southern slopes of the Chamonix Valley, on the edge of the Carlaveyron nature reserve. The summit offers close views of the Mont Blanc massif and a sense of remoteness at the quiet end of the valley. There are plenty of chamois in this area, so be sure to observe them and keep their habitat clean and well maintained.

Long downhill trail along the Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB) route from Brévent Peak (2525 m) to the village of Les Houches: the traditional starting (and finishing) point of the TMB. This walk follows the entire paying route of the Diosaz gorges. The stuck rock is only visible from a distance, about 100 meters, because the last section is under construction.
