The Lütjenburg motte and bailey castle near Lütjenburg in eastern Schleswig-Holstein is a free reconstruction of a medieval fortification, consisting of a motte (tower hill) and a forecourt. A warm hello to everyone! For over 100 years, the Hohwacht & Lippe Fishing Association has represented the interests of local fishermen and their families. It is the professional and part-time representative of fishermen in Hohwacht and Lippe. In keeping with the association's original purpose, it serves the fishermen in its area and promotes camaraderie. Fishing as an economic factor has been declining for years. The fishing association therefore preserves traditions and memories of the times when fishing in Hohwacht was a central source of family income and social cohesion in the community. With events held around the fishing huts in Alt-Hohwacht, we remain committed to tradition, our members, guests, and the community.
