비스마르에 있는 성 니콜라이 교회는 벽돌 고딕 양식의 랜드마크일 뿐만 아니라 한자 동맹 역사의 인상적인 증거이기도 합니다. 선원과 어부들의 교회로서(따라서 성 니콜라스에게 봉헌됨) 이 교회는 도시의 해양 전통에 깊이 뿌리내리고 있습니다. 37미터의 높은 천장 높이를 자랑하는 성 니콜라이 교회는 독일에서 네 번째로 높은 교회 본당입니다(울름 대성당, 쾰른 대성당, 뤼베크 성모 마리아 교회 다음).

A wide street in the old town leading to the harbor. It's so wide because there used to be a sewer running through its center.

Located directly on the market square, it boasts well-preserved buildings from various centuries and architectural styles. Today, it houses the Citizens' Office and the Finance Administration.
