We had a fantastic hike through the moors and heathland of Buxtehude. We saw many deer, herons, and birds of prey, as well as horses and cattle. Great hiking trails wind through beautiful nature 💚 and are also suitable for cycling. The longest route here is about 12 km. You can easily customize your route. There were many airplanes in the sky, and the railway runs right through the moor, but there was no noise pollution. At least, we didn't experience any. The 12 km route is now on our list for next year's bike ride. This moor is quite different from the one in the High Moor near Oldendorf. We also enjoyed a very pleasant morning walk in sunshine 🌞 and sunshine ❄️.

A very nice, quiet route. However, you have to drive carefully in the summer when the grass on the dike is tall, as you don't see oncoming traffic until very late on the narrow, winding road.

At least at the moment, this is definitely a highlight, as it is only open to cyclists, so you can enjoy the view here.
