A beautiful and well-maintained bivouac site. There's a portable toilet (even shaded) and a nice swimming area. The price for an overnight stay has now risen to €5. The fee is collected by the mayor personally.

It's this silent expanse that suddenly envelops you when you emerge from Kuhlhausen onto the asphalt strips that stretch straight across the flat land. Grain to the left, corn to the right – in between: just you, your bike, and the wind. A path seemingly out of time, lined with apple trees, overflown by crows, and carried by the silence that only summer knows. You don't have to arrive here. Here you can simply ride. Straight ahead, accompanied by the rustling of the grass, the creaking of a tree stand that stands in the landscape like a warning observer. The fields breathe deeply, the light changes with the clouds, and sometimes, very rarely, someone drives towards you – a curt greeting, a knowing smile, and then continues on. It's the inconspicuous paths that tell the story of a landscape. And sometimes, its heartbeat too. This one is one of them.

Very nice bivouac site right on the Gülper Havel. There are several benches, a few tables and a fireplace. An overnight stay costs €3.50 (March 2025) but will soon be increased to €5. You register by phone with the groundskeeper. The telephone number is on a sign there. In the evening I was able to observe several beavers from the bench on the bank.

The bivouac and rest area in Grütz is located directly on the Havelland and Havel cycle path. It can be used by water hikers and cyclists to camp for one night. There is a barbecue and fire pit (including wood supply), covered table and seating areas and WiFi access. 👍

A nice place to spend the night. Confirming the 3.5 euro fee per person per night for 2024. There are benches and tables available however no cover for a sunny day. A river swim spot perfect for a refreshing dip. There is also a clean Dixie toilet on-site. Water available in the church up the road however the signage is the most unfriendly I have seen to discourage people from using their water. Great night sky to view stars & northern lights.

They are concrete slabs, but everything is smooth, no bumps or edges.

I rode the Havel cycle path, a great experience, beautiful landscape, beautiful towns and very well-developed cycle paths. We recommend.
