이 건물은 이전 건물의 야석 기초 위에 서 있습니다. 1541년의 시찰 기록에는 이미 Semlin 교회가 언급되어 있으며, 1450년에는 Semlin에 "Pfarrhufe"(약 17헥타르) 즉 교회 토지가 있었습니다. 아마도 12세기 말에 변경백 알브레히트가 정착민으로 이 땅으로 데려온 네덜란드인과 플랑드르 사람들이 Semlin 교회의 위치를 설립했을 가능성이 있습니다. 교회에는 1893년에 구입한 7개의 레지스터가 있는 Lüdtkemüller 오르간이 있습니다. 15세기의 청동 종은 직경 91cm이며 현재 폴란드(Königsberg 근처 Hohenkränig)의 Krajnik Górny에서 왔습니다. 17세기의 더 작은 종은 1952년에 Neuglobsow로 옮겨졌습니다. 교회는 또한 1635년의 은제 세례반을 소유하고 있습니다. 1732년의 풍향계에는 Rauchhaupt 가문과 von der Hagen 가문의 후원자들의 이니셜이 새겨져 있습니다. 2002년에 이루어진 보수 공사를 통해 건물에 대한 가장 시급한 손상을 제거할 수 있었으며, 필요한 추가 유지 보수를 위해 콘서트도 열리고 있습니다.

Anyone approaching Lake Hohennauen on two wheels will be rewarded halfway – with a bridge that is more than just a crossing. The view from here is far-reaching: Lake Ferchesar shimmers to the left, Lake Hohennauen stretches out to the right, and in the middle, Lake Semliner stretches long and blue through the landscape. The bridge itself is comfortable: structurally separate paths for cyclists and pedestrians – that's almost a luxury in Brandenburg. Below, water lilies lap against old pilings, above, boats glide by like mobile viewing platforms. If you pause here for a moment, you'll see what defines the region: expanse, water, wind – and a soothing silence that doesn't have to be loud to make an impression.

Driving on the former railway line is excellent.

The elongated lake includes the Ferchesarer See in the east and the Hohennauener See in the west. The middle section is also known as Semlin Lake. The lake is 8.83 kilometers long and between 300 and 900 meters wide, the canal is 1.57 kilometers long.
