A bike path connecting Chieri to Riva, winding through the countryside with beautiful views of the Turin hills. Two drinking fountains along the route. Halfway along, a gravel path leads to the bike path from Chieri to Pessione.

It is an easy route with a slight difference in altitude, therefore suitable for everyone, there are few cars and a beautiful view especially in the part bordering the hills of Asti.

Nice stretch of dedicated cycle path that leads from Mulino della Torre (Riva) to Chieri. On the Riva side, you reach the start of the cycle path via a secondary road with very little traffic; Chieri side, you connect to the city's excellent cycle network. Water points at the Mulino della Torre and at the opposite end. You ride on excellent asphalt immersed in the countryside. Beautiful ride. NOTE: the official toponymy indicates it as: Cycle path "Arrobio, Piovano, Vergnano"

In the hamlet of San Giovanni, the house where San Domenico Savio, so dear to Don Bosco, was born. Next to the house, the headquarters of a cultural association. On one wall, a motto of the Saint. In front, a playground and a statue dedicated to the Saint. Not far from the provincial road, it is worth the detour.

Ancient road to Buttigliera, very compact fast dirt road with excellent surface, pleasant alternative to the provincial roads. Pass through stunning panoramas.

Old road to Buttigliera d'Asti. Nice simple dirt road, better than many country (and even city) asphalts. It passes through stupendous panoramas, which the Germans discovered only Tuscany!

The actual center of Riva near Chieri, the Parish Square offers a wonderful sight. In addition to the notable parish church, we find: Palazzo Grosso, seat of the Municipality and the Soundscape Museum; a detached bell tower; a column with the writing "Albo Praetorio", of probable Roman origin; a very short distance away, the Palazzo delle Associazioni, the ancient municipal headquarters. Then, about a hundred meters away, we still find the Torre Astense and the Confraternity of the Holy Cross. A concentration of things to see. You have to go there on purpose, but it's worth it.
