The complex consists of several fortifications, including a circular wall with an outer diameter of approximately 100 x 90 meters at the northern end of the ridge and three slightly arched cross-walls that closed off the southern access side. The complex is protected as an archaeological monument.

At the end point of the Slavic Path there is another information point with a playground. Very nice place, good place to rest, you step out of the forest onto a beautiful meadow

Great place for a break. A lovingly designed, covered recreation area is located right next to the source. The water is good for me. I filled 1.5 liters into a bottle and drank it throughout the day. Yummy!

The path from Verchen via the observation tower to Gravelotte is signposted as a "nature trail" and is only suitable for hikers and mountain bikers. Normal cyclists have to carry their bikes over washed-out / washed-out roots at several narrow points. Hikers should wear non-slip shoes in wet weather.
