A great photo opportunity in the Ravenna Gorge, the journey is worth it!

The largest waterfall in the gorge. Very nice tour

A gorge worth seeing through which the wild Ravenna brook paves its way over many cascades and waterfalls. The two largest are the big Ravenna-Fall with 16 meters and the small Ravenna-Fall with 6 meters.

Impressive falls, especially after a lot of rain, of course. When it is wet, however, be careful when stepping on roots or stones: Danger of slipping!

Great natural spectacle in the Bannwald. The way there is an adventure as it is very stony and sometimes very narrow. If you are absolutely sure-footed, you should visit both waterfalls.

Magnificent mountain with a view of the Dreisamtal. In addition, a view of many of the most beautiful peaks in the Black Forest, e.g. Feldberg, Schauinsland, Hochfirst, Kandel, and many more. 🦊

Of course there are bigger waterfalls in the Black Forest, but it is the biggest waterfall in the Ravennaschlucht. Nice to look at!

Freestanding, only the mountain ensemble around the Feldberg dominates the Kandel-Höhe. This gives a clear view of the southern Black Forest and the Vosges, whose silhouette is particularly easy to see in the evening sun. Gloriously covered by meadows in summer, you are exposed to the wind in the cold season. That cannot harm the magic of the mountain top. In the warm glow of a setting sun, you can linger here and enjoy the sight until its last red shimmer has sunk into the black of the horizon.
