A lake with an area of about 80 ha with no access to the shoreline. The trench that forms the lake's runoff to the north flows directly into Randow. The lake is about 2 kilometers long and about 800 meters wide. It is located in a marshy area in the nature reserve of the same name. There is a larger, very flat and partly forested island on the lake. The eastern shore of the lake is forested.
