Another old tank bridge. At the end of the 70s I crossed it myself with the T-55 from Stallberg to Kuhlmorgen. At the time Kuhlmorgen was an old, ravaged tank training area and today it is a beautifully renaturalized piece of land. Behind the bridge you can either drive through the heath (most beautiful when it is in bloom) or take the road to Hammer directly along the Uecker.

Massive and great observation tower with a wonderful view of the valleys. It is particularly beautiful to see when the flowers are in bloom.

The couple in love are 2 fallen trees Behind are other younger trees with signs saying "Name" tree. I could imagine that these people sponsored the trees - but I don't know. I haven't found an explanation

Redirected. Crazy view. Good chances of hearing and seeing cranes.

From the Fuchsberg you have a good view over the Galenbeck lake and with good visibility you can also see Ueckermünde, Anklam and even Wolgast. One way to get to the Fuchsberg is via the town of Gehren, which is known for the Wildtierland house, where you can also stay overnight. You always cross the village following the main road, drive or hike the road into the Brohmer Mountains and after a short time you come to a rest area from which the ascent begins. After some effort and a few minutes further, the hiker stands in front of the viewing platform. The second tour to the Fuchsberg leads through Neuensund (see signs at the end of the village). The Schmiedegrundsee in Neuensund is a quiet bathing place to relax, but is also designated for fishing - eel, perch, pike, carp, roach and lead can be found here. Since spring 2020 there is again a lookout tower on the Fuchsberg, from which you have a wonderful view of the surrounding landscape.

In order to be able to better cover the ever-increasing demand for wood in the economy, from around 1870 the Jädkemühl forestry department began to try to cultivate foreign and non-resident tree species with the aim of comparing their vigor and wood quality with the native forest tree species. As a result of such attempts, numerous European and Japanese larches, anerican red chickfish, coastal Douglas fir, white pine, coastal fir, sitka spruce can be found today. The plant garden contains over 30 different native and foreign forest tree species. Source: Information board at the Jädkemühl plant garden
