2026년 5월 기준: 거의 20년이 지난 지금, 몇 년 전만 해도 계단을 오르내리듯 넘어야 했던 쓰러진 거목들은 거의 완전히 썩어 없어졌습니다. 그 결과 다리와 널빤지 길, 나무 판자 길이 철거되었고 이제는 진흙탕 구간만 나무 밑동을 통해 극복해야 합니다.

The Kyrill Trail has ten stations that provide information about the damage caused by the storm Kyrill in the Hunsrück Forest in 2007, as well as about the work of foresters and the natural regeneration of the forest. The Kyrill Trail leads visitors across planks and small ladders through the windthrow area.

Geierlay🌁 It is a free mega pedestrian rope bridge in Rhineland-Palatinate, opened on October 3, 2015. 🧭 Located in the Hunsrück, it crosses the Mörsdorfer Bachtal between the local communities of Mörsdorf (Rhein-Hunsrück district) and Sosberg (Cochem-Zell district). At 360 m long, it was the longest suspension rope bridge in Germany until 2017🇩🇪
