Totenkopfstraße from the Kalmit down to Breitenstein. Easy to drive up and down. The cars are a bit annoying, but it's OK😅.

The Knoppenweth (hist. Waldweide) is a mountain saddle between Stabenberg and Mittelberg. The historic donkey path passes the Knoppenweth.

The “Rotsteig” is at an altitude of 340 m. It can be reached from three entrances: -Northeast driveway from Wachenheim (approx. 7 km / approx. 216 m) -Southwest driveway from Lindenberg (approx. 5 km / approx. 231 m) -Southeast driveway from Gimmeldingen (approx. 6.4 km / approx. 171 m) - note the closure!

Shortly below the summit you will find the large crossroads here. From here you can easily get to the Eckkopf, Pfalzblick, Stabenberg, Eselsweg, ....

The Totenkopfstraße is an approx. 14 km long pass road in the Palatinate Forest and connects the Vorderpfalz with the Elmsteiner Tal.
