The Görauer Anger is about 11 kilometers west of Kulmbach, for me it is one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Franconia, the high plateau has a length of about 4 kilometers with seating, the breathtaking view extends far into the Franconian Forest / Fichtelgebirge and to Thuringia . Is very easy to reach via the A70 and B 289.

A beautiful hiking trail located in the forest. Also suitable for children, as the tour is not that long and, with several rocks that can be found along the way, also invites them to play and linger. You don't notice anything of the 270 meters in altitude (which the app calculated for me). The route is also popular with bikers, and there were a few on it yesterday.

It's always nice to walk this way. A way to enjoy the sun and the view. And if you are here early in the morning, you will also find peace. In the afternoon there are a lot of walkers here.
