Below the Maria Brünnl pilgrimage church is the Brünnl chapel next to the spring. The healing water of the spring is said to help with eye ailments. It is part of the Bohemian-Bavarian Brünnl pilgrimage route

Even today, many pilgrims commemorate the miraculous recovery and wet their eyes with the healing spring water. They particularly like to do this on August 15, the "Brünnl holiday" (Assumption of Mary), when they take part in the festive service in the idyllic forest. But even during the year, the church, chapel and spring are visited by walkers and bikers from near and far.
