It is marked on the map as an S0 trail, but as described it is more of an S2+, and even more of an S3 when wet. Because there is no sign at the upper entrance pointing to this path, it is completely overgrown and hardly rideable. I would rather avoid this trail on the path to the west (on a curve)...

This is not an S1 trail. This is S2. I think most bikers have to dismount at the lowest part, because very few will "jump" here.

Beautiful, easy S1 trail. Rooty, flowing and small jumps. Shortly before the end there is a big mud hole. I think that's supposed to be the "pig hole". Easily accessible via a car park near Hausen (near Wildsteig) then onto the Königsweg and, depending on your taste and time, choose one of the eastern uphills. The way back is idyllic, it goes through beautiful meadows, forests and through the odd stream. Easily doable even for not so totally fit bikers.

Great long and partly steep trail with a number of self-made jumps. Not that easy to drive in autumn leaves

Smaller trail deposits with alternative routes are nice to ride with the MTB, with a city bike and the like probably not recommended
