Seems to be (again?) rideable at the moment. I skipped the jumps in the upper section on my XC bike, but I'll definitely come back with the enduro. I wasn't expecting anything like that on the tour. Otherwise, the trail has everything it needs. Steep sections, a few playful turns, a few jumps, roots, and rocks. Better than most of the trails on the heath.

Riding the gravel bike is really fun and the views are sometimes very beautiful!! Great recommendation! If you come across the crossing forest path, you should follow it, because the second part of the Gombsen Trail is less suitable for bikes with drop bars 😉

Wonderful trail along the ridge and then extend it with Gombsen Trail 2 or Flowtrail. A pleasure....

If there isn't a tree trunk on the way, everything is very easy to drive at S0 level. Rarely S1.

I just rode that route today. This has nothing to do with S1. I advise against anyone who drives a maximum of S1. For everyone else DO IT 😁

One of the most beautiful trails for hiking and cycling.

From the Sachsenforst near Bonnewitz to the Pillnitz vineyards, another pleasure trail runs along the mountain below the popular hunting trail. At first it is nice and shallow and meanders again and again into small depressions that are crossed by a stream. Get some momentum and over there it goes up again. Later, at the height of the view over Graupa, the path becomes rougher and the rocks emerge. But you get into the flow really well and almost don't want to stop at the highlights of the Rysselkuppe and the named view. Shortly before the vineyards there is a difficult depression and a very steep, slippery ascent. Then the path glides along the vineyard wall with a wonderful view over Pillnitz and the Elbe valley.
