The ascent and descent are very challenging. You really need to be sure-footed and not afraid of heights. Some of the steps are no longer there. The hiking trail that leads to Rabenauer Grund is currently closed. However, this is not obvious when coming from Somsdorf. There is only a sign from Rabenauer Grund.

The Friedrichgrundbach stream flows for about 1.5 km through the Friedrichsgrund, named after Elector Friedrich August III of Saxony. Towards the end of the 18th century, it was built and embellished with a total of 10 bridges, similar to the Seifersdorfer Valley.

The path is also suitable for gravel bikes. Uphill the path becomes increasingly narrower shortly before the Eutschütz mill and at the end there are a few steps. A dream up and down and almost no pedestrians during the week.
