The Bernsteinsee is located west of Körkwitz in Mecklenburg-West Pomerania. The body of water is a gravel lake and is about 13 hectares in size. The lake is located in the eastern part of the town of Ribnitz-Damgarten and in the west of the municipality of Dierhagen. The Bersteinsee was created by the accumulation of groundwater in a gravel mine and is now used for tourism.

The meadow path is often marked as a path on Google Maps. In real life, this path does not exist at all. There is just swamp :(

At first I didn't quite understand from the comments what is so special about this highlight, but as soon as you stand there you have to laugh heartily: The old oak tree, planted a long time ago in honor of Prince Borwin, certainly a very imposing tree, no longer lives. However, a young tree was replanted as a memorial. However, it still has to grow "somewhat"! But a little further away on the path you can see very well how impressive such a tree can be!
