Please do not use this observation platform during the resting periods in spring and autumn to give the cranes more peace and space. Instead, you can use the nearby observation points of the Kranorama.

In spring and fall, a visit to the Kranorama is definitely worthwhile. Visitors can expect a magnificent spectacle. Hundreds to thousands of cranes and geese gather in the meadows, calling, hooting, honking, and fluttering around, flying away and returning. There's also great information on the information boards and from the friendly rangers on hand.

The varied hike around the Devin peninsula offers many beautiful views. The meadows in the NSG are reserved for the sheep and the beaches for the birds.
