The entrance can be overlooked and initially it doesn't roll that well (at least in damp and wet conditions), but after the right-hand bend it starts really well, partly rooted, partly through a meadow, always flowing and without difficulties. I've always ridden the trail with the hardtail, no problem!

There is now a tree on the trail, which means that you have to carry your bike from the direction of Daun at the end of the trail. Otherwise it is a nice flat trail which is preferable to the country road. The tree has now been cleared and the trail is 100% passable.

The MTB 1 circuit around the Nordschleife is well signposted and you can often get close to the route. The trails are also beautiful and varied
