Beautiful narrow forest path along the Schwentine. Also highly recommended if you want to go to Gut Rastorf, as you avoid the incline on the sandy path (Rastorfer Weg), which is not so easy to navigate.

The Benedictine monastery was founded by Albrecht von Orlamünde in 1210, but moved several times before reaching its current location after 50 years. The monastery church has existed since 1340 because it was destroyed by fire. There was also an infirmary on the site to heal the sick. With the dissolution of the monasteries during the Reformation, the Preez monastery was converted into a convent for women. Unfortunately, the church is not open to the public, except by appointment. From the outside, however, the monastery is definitely an eye-catcher!
