The trail at Schalsberg is quite rooty at first, but after that, it's rather boring. Some tracks churned up by wild boars are more enjoyable.

Riding on a forest road is of course more comfortable, but the trail here is great fun to ride.

Good and long trail...be careful when it's wet! Lots of leaves and in one part a forester has laid thick branches on the trail...

Best trail of the 4 trails. Challenging. Steep, rooty with many berms on the steep slope. After the first crossing, it becomes much tamer. Narrow, many residents, small jumps down to the street. Not so tingling during long dry and wet periods

Can be driven in both directions, but jumps can only be used from north-east to south-west

The photos prove it: Here many mountain bikers prefer the wide gravel forest road (Hoffmannsweg) and ignore the beautiful marked trail 😖
