From here there is a very nice view of Braunfels Castle with its pond. Braunfels Castle is still inhabited by the royal family. There are regular tours and events at the castle. The castle was built in 1246. In 1300 defensive towers and curtain walls were added.

You should take a little time to enjoy the place. We especially recommend taking a break here on hot summer days in order to meditate and slow down a bit through the rippling of the water.
