Great views from up here. A very large plateau of slag heaps. I recommend climbing the beautiful paths rather than the Stairway to Heaven.

The cross commemorates Johannes Paulsen, who was murdered here on February 24, 1668. It is located at a crossroads next to some benches. A nice place to take a break, especially for families, as the kids can improve their bike control skills on a small off-road route during the break.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nicely the heap is laid out. On the one hand, the possibility to climb up the stairs or via different paths and then I found the huge meadow area on the plateau very beautiful. I can imagine it being fantastic when the weather is nice, when a lot of people fly kites there. Glider pilots and mountain bikers also get their money's worth, so there is something for everyone. Of course I enjoyed the great panoramic view :-)
