One of the landmarks of the North German dump is the "Himmelstreppe", which was built in 2007 as a work of art. 359 steps overcome approx. 52 vertical meters and lead on a short path to Haldentop. The work of art unfolds its attraction especially in the dark. The LED lights installed in the handrail of the stairs point a direct way up, are magical, draw attention and make you curious.
