The Tauern Pass is also accessible from Tweng – but many find the climb from Radstadt more scenic. The first ten kilometers to Untertauern are a pleasant way to warm up your calves, then things get tough. Almost 20 kilometers and over 900 meters of elevation gain don't just happen! 💪🏼

You actually have a great view of the Tennengebirge from everywhere in this part of the Tauern cycle path. The Tennengebirge is a mountain group in the Northern Limestone Alps in the Austrian state of Salzburg.

The 1,313 meter high Langeggsattel below the Gerzkopf forms the nice transition from Neuberg towards Lammertal. On the descent (or on the ascent) you have a great view of the Bischofsmütze. Very nice gravel road section.
