Even though this small, sacred monument isn't located on the famous Camino de Santiago through northern Spain, perhaps some thoughts from Hape Kerkeling might offer some inspiration in light of the summit cross standing here. The entertainer, famous especially in Germany, walked the Camino Francés in 2001 and kept a diary, which was published under the title "I'm Off Then." In it, he describes his personal encounter with God along the way as follows: "Yesterday, something inside me struck a huge gong. And the sound will resonate. Sooner or later, this path shakes everyone to their core. I know the sound will slowly fade, but if I listen closely, I'll be able to perceive this echo for a very long time."

The Falkenstein Cave is a small, exciting detour carved into the rock face, resembling a hidden window into nature. Inside, it's usually noticeably cooler, and the view out over the forest and slopes has an adventurous feel. Perfect for a quick stop – a quick look inside, a breath of fresh air, and then back onto the trail.

The Four Brothers Tree is an ancient black pine that originated as a seedling around the year 980. Due to browsing by wild animals, its distinctive growth with four trunks developed, two of which still survive today. The tree has been a protected species since 1930 and, at over 1,000 years old, is considered an impressive natural monument—an imposing witness to time, not far from a rest area with a beautiful view.

The whole railway hiking trail is really beautiful, and of course this well-known place/view is a highlight of it. When the weather is nice there is usually a bit of activity going on here.
