At 1,743 meters, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Wechsel area. Many hiking tours start from up here and there are other seasonally managed huts besides the Wetterkogelhaus directly at the summit. In the Wetterkogelhaus, you can not only strengthen yourself, but also stay in shared rooms and in the mattress camp. For e-bikes in the guest room five sockets are available for loading.

"The Wechsel is a low mountain range in the east of Austria with the Hochwechsel (1743 m above sea level) as the main peak and two other peaks over 1700 m. The mountain range forms the border of the federal states of Lower Austria and Styria southeast of the Semmering and northeast of the Graz basin, between the Feistritzsattel and the pass of the same name. "
