It's beautiful, and the walk through the forest takes just a few minutes. It's not strenuous, and the view is worth it.

Great views and a great MTB approach from Slovenia. MTB descents towards Austria are apparently not permitted.

The very conceptual name is both complete and true to the program. A great opportunity to stand high up at a "three-state junction" and look down on their countries.

What a beautiful lake, the short detour is well worth it.

Did the Alpe-Adria-Radweg at the beginning of July, terrific. Completely new impressions every day. It was fantastic. The thoughts of the last kilometers before Grado still give me goosebumps. Also the pictures you see here are so good! We used the time before our overnight stay in Tarvisio and drove up to the Lago di Fusine. A dream, the path 1 A and the atmosphere on site just beautiful. We recommend!

The Zelenci Nature Reserve is located on the northern border of the Triglav National Park, embraced by the Vitranc and the Karawanks. This wetland and marshy area is about 1200 meters long, on average 150 meters wide. At the western end is its greatest attraction: an emerald green lake crossed by a special wooden walkway. From the chalky rocks of the seabed, which give the water its characteristic colour, numerous springs of extremely pure water gush out, the temperature of which (about 6°C) remains constant throughout the year. The area was declared a nature reserve in 1992. Numerous species of interesting plants have found a home in this nature reserve, including the carnivorous sundew, while among the animals there are numerous amphibians and nesting birds.
