this area ve been an OFF zone for quite some tine due to safety reasons. The rooties r quite weak, the structure of the tree fig is rotten . The place is quite isolated as not many hiiking this area

side cave to the main temple. Lots of neon lights and everything very artificial. For me the 15MR entrance fee wasn't worth it. But who likes it? The main temple is free and was much more impressive.

It costs RM 5 extra, but it is a nice lap of honour, for example at the end of the Silau Silau Trail

Beautiful views and pools. Watch out for the monkeys!!! Never leave your luggage lying around.

1월 20, 2024, KL Forest Eco Park (Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve)
On my first visit here in 2018 there was no entry fee. Now, in December 2023, non-Malays (i.e. foreign tourists) will have to pay 40 MYR (approx. 8 euros) entry per person (at least at the entrance at the KL Tower). Since I only wanted to walk across the park once, I politely declined. Then I had to run around the outside in a big arc. A pity.

Finely laid out botanical garden, for tourists 5 RM entry, for locals, like almost everywhere in Malaysia, a bit cheaper. Since there are 4000-5000 different plants in the area, you didn't need to create anything great, just lay a nice path through the rainforest and put signs on the plants, and the garden was done. Depending on your interest in plants, you can spend just 15 minutes or an hour here.

If you have some time in KL, you should take a taxi (about RM 20 from KLCC via Grab) and go to Batu Caves. There you can admire the big statues, colorful temples, big caves and much more. But beware, no sweat, no gain, to get into the main temple, there are pretty colorful but steep stairs to overcome. Elevators or escalators are scarce there

It was supposed to be open from 8 a.m., but it was closed today. Whether it's permanent or just because of Ramadan, I have no idea. That means you have to walk back down the street from the KL Tower and then bypass the park along Jalan Raja Chulan if you want to get to the other side.

Nice to look at water cascade. But the real highlight is the long-tail boat ride to this place. However, I didn't go swimming. After reading an inviting Schlld about possible parasites, viruses and bacteria in the water, my desire to swim vanished.
